I discuss the state of Skatepark design and creating more inclusive spaces for all users.
I actually shot the photo on page 25.
This was a process driven by the community, and we were just there to help bring that
vision to life. We did three different input meetings where we presented different
options, and we came up with something that the skaters and all the different users you
see would enjoy. They came up with some of their own ideas.
The skatepark design made use of colors and materials chosen specifically to make it feel like a part of
downtown LaGrange.
